Alpha Courses

An opportunity to explore the meaning of life

The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun way.

There's a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other.  This is followed by a short talk and an chance to listen, learn, ask, discuss and discover.

Special Events

LaserLight Party
A popular alternative to traditional halloween parties, for children in school years from 1-6, held on 31st October each year.  LaserLight includes games, crafts, hot dogs, a prayer room, singing, bouncy castles, dancing, space hoppers and face painting.

In 2007, over 160 children experienced "Jelly Mania" and heard how Jesus is our best friend.

Our next LaserLight party will be on 31st October 2008 - watch this space.

Funzone 2004

Funzone
Now in its seventh year, this very popular one day event for children in years 1-6 is run by the Children's Ministry Team and Dave Arrowsmith, our Children's Worker.

Funzone in 2008 was a blast!  We had lots of activities and games, many crafts and creative ideas.

Pictures of the 2004 Funzone are available here.

Watch out for Funzone again in 2009!
