St. John's Church

Location: Church, ground floor.
Capacity: Approximately 300 people (lecture style).
Features: Carpeted with central heating. Sliding partition wall separates the Church from the Lounge. Seating can be arranged to suit individual events. A raised platform at the front has removable communion rails. Access is either via the Lounge or via a door to Mattock Lane.

Music Facilities: Estonia baby grand piano. Pipe organ with four divisions (great, choir, swell and pedal). Separate area for music group with keyboard and drum kit.

AV Facilities: Music quality PA system with 32 channel mixing desk, a good selection of outboard gear and four foldback monitors. A back projected video-projector onto a hung screen, with facilities for VHS, DVD, PowerPoint and SongPro or EasyWorship playback. The screen retracts to the ceiling when not in use.
Accessibility: Wheelchair access through the Lounge via a ramp at the front of the building, a hearing aid loop is installed as well as a large print projection system for song words. We also have Braille copies of 'Songs of Fellowship'. A disabled toilet is situated off the Lounge.

PLEASE NOTE: Booking the Church also includes the use of the Lounge, Grand Piano and Lounge Kitchen (for light refreshments only). The PA or AV system, Organ, or use of the Kitchen for cooking can be booked for an additional one-off charge. Use of the Crypt is not included unless specifically booked as well.
